Why Miroku and Kagome?

Even though Miroku and Kagonme don't have a very 'romantic' relationship, (He's a pervert, KILL HIM!) these two still have a special and strong bond. They're like best friends, and have always been there for each other. They console the other one one is down, and help the other when one is in need (I.E: Kagome trying to hook Miroku up with Sango before the prince did, hillarious)

So even though they may not have any romantic interest in each other what so ever, they still have a strong bond, and their relationship with each other will always be a good one... (Unless Miroku messes up and acts like a pervert while kagome and Sango are around -_-;...
